Executive Mentors

Project ReMADE partners with Silicon Valley professionals who serve as mentors to our formerly incarcerated clients, teachers for our basic business classes, and inspirational guest speakers. Classes begin in January of each year and last for approximately three months.

Last year I was fortunate to serve as a volunteer mentor in Project ReMADE. For three months, two SLS students and I worked closely with an ambitious and incredibly talented woman who had spent 20 years in prison. We helped this aspiring entrepreneur develop a business plan to manufacture and sell one-of-a-kind handcrafted accessories. It was a privilege for me to spend time with the two impressive students as well as with this extraordinary woman who taught us so much about overcoming hardships. I am thrilled to volunteer again this year!Russell Pyne, Executive Mentor
